Potty Training

I would love to know at what age you all started potty training your kiddos with Down syndrome, how long it took, biggest challenge and any tips that helped you on the way. My son\'s school, which is a school for kids with Down syndrome and other developmental delays, starts them at anywhere from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2. I\'m pretty sure we will be asked to start working on it this summer, which will put my little guy at 3 years old. So I\'ll be taking good notes from the responses!
