Are you involved in your local Down syndrome organization? In what ways to you volunteer? Or what events to you go to?
I'm on the Buddy Walk planning committee and one of our county's representatives for our local DS organization. I also attend a monthly parent's night out.
| Yes we are involved with our local society. We were when we lived in Edmonton (I ran the playgroup, we attended the monthly meetings, went to the Buddy Walk and Christmas Party) and when we moved here there was no local society so a friend and I started one up. So far we have had a Family Picnic, Buddy Walk, Christmas Party, Monthly Playgroup and Monthly Parent SUpport evenings. It's great!

| I have yet to attend a meeting of our local here, and it's been almost a year since Kiki was born. I keep intending to go. It meets on the 2nd Monday of every month, and for some reason I have a mental block about figuring out when that is. |
