Did anyone watch it? What did you think? Did it do the book justice or not?

I watched it. The thing is, I wasn't a huge fan of the book. I read it while I was pregnant, after we found out about Kiki's diagnosis, so I wasn't in the best frame of mind, admittedly, but it bothered me that Phoebe's character was so... static. She didn't really have much presence in the book, at least to me, except as a plot device, and there didn't seem to be any development in her character. As for the movie, I think it followed the book well enough, but they edited out all the trials/tribulations/efforts Caroline went through raising Phoebe and being an advocate for Phoebe. On one hand, I'm glad there's a bestseller that features a person with DS as the main character, and that it's been made into a movie -- but on the other hand, I'm rather leukwarm about this piece in general.
