Our Buddy Walk is Oct 19th and I participate in Get It Down: 31 for 21 on the blog. 31 for 21 is 31 posts in the month of October about Down syndrome.

We are organizing our communities first buddy walk. I am so excited. Our t-shirts, balloons, and car magnets arrived today. I can't wait!

We are doing a booksigning for " White Rose for Jonathon" in Oshkosh at Basic Books. (where Jon will sign his own book!!!) We are hoping to draw in a lot of the public so we can tell the those who don't know--how wonderful it is to have a beautiful child with Down syndrome.

The UDSF has/is having 5 Buddy Walks throughout the state and a gym owner is having a 5K in honor of DS awareness. I have been doing the "Get it Down - 31 for 21" on both my daughter's personal blog and the UDSF blog. We have several people that are going into schools and talking about disabilities.
