Down Syndrome).
So after a few dry weeks before her birthday, Kiki has spent the last couple of weeks amazing us with new abilities. (BTW, her birthday was AWESOME and she enjoyed the heck out of her cupcake!)
Just a few days after her birthday, she started waving. Now she waves at everyone and... everything, including empty corners while she's eating, playing, roaming, etc.
On about the same day, she started dancing. At first it was only to the tune her mirror plays, but now she'll start dancing to random bits of music that we sing, or that she hears on the tv. It's so cute that when we find something that makes her dance, we sing it over and over and over and over --- and then we feel guilty, like we're torturing her, but it is sooooo damned cute, we can't stop.
And this weekend, she started to show an interest in trying to pull herself up on furniture. And out of nowhere, she started crawling! Up til now, she's been doing the military drag to get around, but now, she's actually scooting along on all 4's.
Just had to share... I am so happy right now!!
