Down Syndrome).
It seems like weeks will go by when Kiki not only doesn't demonstrate any new skills, and sometimes seems to forget the ones she had before.
And then boom! It's like a lightbulb goes on and she not only starts doing things again that she'd forgotten, but she adds two or three new tricks to the act.
This weekend she started clapping and mimicking new actions and playing peek-a-boo. I suppose technically the mimicking is really the only new thing and the other two are offshoots, but you know what? I'm counting 'em. :)
